How Do You Remove Ransomware?

The best way to remove ransomware is by using an antivirus software to detect and delete the malicious files. You can also go in and delete the files manually if you know what you’re looking for. However, keep in mind that if you choose to remove ransomware by deleting the files and not paying the ransom, you may never be able to access your files, because the process of simply removal won’t decrypt your files. Of course, if you have a current backup, this is not necessarily a problem.

Remember, even if you choose to pay the ransom, you are not guaranteed that your files will be decrypted.
