How Do You Prevent Ransomware?

The best way to prevent ransomware from infecting your computer or network is through education. Learning how to spot a phishing email or suspicious pop-up is key. Educating all employees within an organization on an ongoing basis is also important, as hacker tactics are constantly changing.

Using anti-virus and threat detection and management software is the best protection against ransomware attacks. These applications are constantly scanning your network for suspicious activity and can stop an attack before it happens or alert the IT department of any security weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
