How to Prevent Phishing?

The best way to prevent phishing attacks is through education and the use of security software. Educating family members and employees on how to spot phishing attempts and to never click any links in suspicious-looking emails is key. They should also know to never provide their financial or login information via email and to report any suspected phishing emails immediately.

Also, make sure that the latest security updates are running on all your devices and that your organization has a security protocol in place that protects your information. When in doubt, contact the company (or sender if it looks to be from someone you know) to verify whether or not they actually sent you the email before clicking on any links or responding in any way.
